Transition to School Summer Holiday Activities

Belong Blue Mountains supports Lawson Public School and the P&C with their transition to school program.

Lawson Public School and Belong Blue Mountains invites you to join us and other Kindy families for three picnic days over the summer. Our hope is that these days will give you all the opportunity to get to know each other a little better before the first day of school.

We encourage children to bring their food in their school bag to practice opening this themselves.

Thursday 16th January 10am - 12pm

Picnic in the Top Playground. Get to know other parents while your children play and meet the school's friendly chickens.

Thursday 30th January 10am - 12pm

Picnic in the Bottom Playground. Meet some of the dedicated staff that are onsite preparing their classrooms for the upcoming year.

Saturday 1st February 11am - 12.30pm

Family Picnic and Games in the Top Playground. Bring a family picnic to enjoy under the shade of the trees. Enjoy some games and a chat with other 2025 Kindy families.
