What is PICK 'n' MIX?
Pick 'n Mix Youth Service is an inclusive space for young people to connect, create and access local resources. Programs run during school terms at locations across the Blue Mountains.
What makes this program different?
Pick 'n' Mix Youth Services is a mobile, integrated youth-focused model that takes a holistic approach to wellbeing. The program aims to provide young people with a range of offerings that they can 'pick and mix' depending on their needs.
Pick 'n' Mix is open to all young people, reducing stigma around seeking support. Many of the young people who access our service identify as neurodivergent and/or queer. We are committed not only to meeting their needs, but to celebrating their identities as vital, powerful parts of our community.
How does it work?
You don't need a reason to come.
If all you want to do is hang out, that's cool with us.
Connection comes first.
We welcome young people with warmth and curiosity — not assessments or pressure.
Creativity is our entry point.
Through art and expression, young people explore identity, emotion, and connection — no artistic skill needed.
You lead the way.
Our programs are driven by young people. Our steering committee is made up of service participants decides on the direction of the service.

Pick 'n' Mix also runs a digital wellbeing program delivered in local high schools.
