Administration Officer - Fixed Term Contract, Part time 21 - 28 Hrs per week until 13th September 2024.
Award Level; Social Community and Home Care Award (SCHADS) Level 3. With above Award conditions.
This position is part of the Belong Blue Mountains Governance unit and reports to the Coordinator Human Resources & Quality.
The role will primarily work with the Coordinator and will have contact with staff across the organisation. The role is responsible for administration support across Belong BM’s Human Resources, Work Health & Safety and Quality Improvement processes.
The position will generally be based at Katoomba Neighbourhood Centre, however, may be required to attend other Belong BM sites at various times.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated administration, data base and research skills and experience.

Gardener temporary Full time 35 Hrs per week until 20th December 2024.

We are looking for a friendly, self-starter with gardening and maintenance experience to join our team.
An understanding of the needs of older people in our community is an important part of this role.
The role requires experience using power tools, mowing, hedge trimming, pruning, minor tree work, weeding and general garden maintenance. Some knowledge of Horticulture is an advantage.
This position is covered by the Social Community and Home Care Award (SCHADS) Level 2 Home Care with above Award conditions.
The position within Belong Blue Mountains works across the Mountains with uniforms, tools and vehicle access provided.

Bus Driver / Childcare Support Worker Katoomba Out of School Hours Service (KOOSH)

Award Level Children’s Services Award 2010 Children’s Services Employees (CSE)
The KOOSH service provides before and after school and vacation childcare services. The role of the Bus Driver/Childcare Support Worker is to safely provide transport to and/or from school for children attending Before School Care and After School Care, and assisting in the preparation, provision and clearing up of afternoon tea for children attending.
Qualifications & experience; knowledge, skills and abilities

Light Rigid (LR) driver’s licence,
-
Ability to work as an effective team member,
-
Current relevant first aid certificate or willingness to obtain,
-
Current Working with Children’s check and Criminal Record check.
Desirable Criteria
-
Previous experience working with children,
-
Basic understanding of WHS issues.
